Freyja’s mummy Jessica, is one of our volunteer lifeboat crew and along with daddy Ollie, the family visited the station during Sunday’s training session.

Born at 8:26am on Tuesday 29 November at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital, Freyja weighed just 5lbs and 8oz.

Claire McRae, Lifeboat Press Officer, said: 'We all loved our cuddles and are hopeful Freyja will follow in her mummy’s footsteps and join the crew when she is a wee bit bigger.'
