The Rhyl based fundraising group 'Belief' met with Rhyl RNLI lifeboat crew at the Cob and Pen pub this afternoon (Sunday 5 February) to hand over their sponsorship money for taking part in the annual Festive Dip.

The group raised an amazing £1,225 and presented the cheque to Coxswain Martin Jones. Belief have become fancy dress regulars at the annual festive dip, this year taking part as a flock of flamingos!

Rhyl RNLI Coxswain Martin Jones said: 'We are grateful to the Belief fundraising group for braving the cold water every year to support us, we rely on their donations to keep the RNLI afloat. We look forward to seeing what fancy dress costumes they come up with at the next dip!'
