Cheque Presentation
In April 2023 some of the organisers of Ardmore Christmas Day Swim presented a cheque to some of the volunteer members of Youghal RNLI with a cheque of an amazing €4534.18.
The funds were raised from a raffle held at Ardmore Christmas market, The Christmas day swim and many more. The event has been raising funds for the Lifeboat since mid 90's and has always been well supported by the local community. The swimmers gathered at Ardmore beach on Christmas morning (2022) and made the dash to the water, were Youghal RNLI's inshore lifeboat and her volunteer crew were there to oversee the safety of the swimmers.

John Griffin Snr, Youghal RNLI Lifeboat Operations Manager said': On behave of myself and all the crew here at Youghal RNLI we would like to thank our good friends of Ardmore Christmas swim for all their hard work, dedication and continued support every year. And to everyone that donated, it is through the generosity of all of you that we have the funds to continue the work we carry out.'
