
Second shout in matter of hours for Berwick-upon-Tweed RNLI
HM Coastguard requested the all-weather lifeboat Joy and Charles Beeby, to assist Northumbria Police and the North East Ambulance Service.
The crew were there in minutes of being tasked, where they brought the casualty on board and headed back to the lifeboat station.
On arrival at the lifeboat station, the casualty was handed over to Paramedics, where they were transported to hospital for treatment.
Berwick-upon-Tweed RNLI are at the ready 24 hours a day 365 days a year to help save lives at sea and assist other Emergency Services.
This was the third requested shout for the all-weather lifeboat in three days.
