The all-weather lifeboat launched at 1.50pm with six volunteer crew onboard.

The weather was partly cloudy with good visibility, a light north-easterly breeze and calm seas.

The coxswain assessed the situation and decided the best course of action was to tow the vessel to a safe berth. A tow line was established and the vessel was towed to Pwllheli Marina.
