The coffee morning will be held at Penarth Yacht Club
Tickets to the event will cost £1, with all funds raised going to help the lifesaving work of RNLI Penarth. As well as a selection of cakes available to buy, there will be a fundraising book sale on the morning.

The lifeboat station has had a busy few weeks, with the volunteer crew responding to night-time callouts to a broken-down fishing vessel and a 50-foot yacht suffering from engine failure.

Sara Siddall, Secretary of RNLI Penarth Fundraising Committee, said:

“We’re all really looking forward to the coffee morning after a long period when we were unable to hold fundraising events because of the pandemic.

“It will be a great chance to get together and enjoy coffee and a chat, while supporting RNLI Penarth’s volunteer crew to continue saving lives at sea.”
