Sennen Cove inshore lifeboat aids kayaker in difficulties.
A call was received from HM Coastguard Falmouth at 1.15 pm on Sunday 18 July, in response to a kayaker's request for help. He was struggling against the current near Shark's Fin off Pedn-men-du.
The D class inshore lifeboat(ILB) Amy Brown launched at 1.18 pm with three RNLI volunteer crew and quickly arrived on scene. The crew assisted the kayaker out of his difficulties and checked he was safe and well.
When they were satisfied that the kayaker could now continue by himself, they returned to the station and the ILB was recovered back in the harbour at 1.30 pm.
