Several local businesses have donated prizes already, including vouchers for haircuts and meat from a local butcher. As well as the raffle there will be a section of the shop set aside with a display to highlight the work of the RNLI.

'We had been discussing holding a fundraiser with the staff and the RNLI immediately came to mind, especially this year when the beaches are likely to be busier than ever with people planning staycations, which could led to the RNLI's lifeboats being busier as well.' said Paul Money, postmaster at the Seaside Post Office.
