Bingo and Alpacas launch 2020 fundraising drive at Abersoch Lifeboat Station.
Our busy volunteer fundraising team organised a Supper & Bingo Night last Thursday (5 March) together with a raffle that boasted some superb and unusual prizes!
After a tense few rounds of bingo with local bingo caller Kevin Bell, quizmaster Howard Sharketts took over with a general knowledge quiz written by his wife Nessa. The questions took supporters from the distant days of the Beatles right up to the present-day world of iPhones and Netflix. The top spot was secured by the very aptly named ‘The Young Ones’ being the youngest in the bar!
A wide array of prizes was donated by local businesses and supporters of the RNLI which included first class Champagne, Spa Days and a trek with the local Abersoch Alpacas!
The evening was a great success and raised £700 for the RNLI.
