The visit to the station was to present a generous donation amounting to £1060 to the lifeboat volunteer team.

The money raised was realised by a fundraising event at the Newbiggin Central Club where a raffle, domino cards and other table competitions. In addition local businesses including the 'Shaj Tandori' along with the 'New Butcher by the Sea' donated prizes for the fundraiser.

Our thanks go out to everyone who made this donation happen - it is really appreciated. Thank you.
