Largs Marina Based Company DDZ Marine Ltd. Raise a substantial sum for Largs Lifeboat Station

DDZ Marine Ltd. headed by their MD Dino Zavaroni is Based within Largs Yacht Haven are in the business of sales and service of all types of vessels, this year they celebrate 30 years in business.
As part of the celebration DDZ Marine Ltd. organised an event which included a trip to Colintraive in boats with a £15.00 entry fee.
That same evening they held a party at Largs Sailing Club where a raffle was held, prizes were donated by a number of companies, Raymarine,Volvo, and Garmin, other games in the evening included, guess how many sweets in the jar, a total of £1,595 was raised, all of which was donated to Largs Lifeboat Station.
All at Largs Lifeboat Station, Officials and Crew wish to thank DDZ Marine Ltd. and their hard working team of organisers for the most generous donation at the same time assuring them that this money is gratefully received and will be put to good use helping to keep Largs RNLI Lifeboat afloat.
Without such dedicated hard work and such fund raising our lifeboats would not be there.

The RNLI charity saves lives at sea. Its volunteers provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland coasts. The RNLI operates 238 lifeboat stations in the UK and Ireland and more than 240 lifeguard units on beaches around the UK and Channel Islands. The RNLI is independent of Coastguard and government and depends on voluntary donations and legacies to maintain its rescue service. Since the RNLI was founded in 1824, its lifeboat crews and lifeguards have saved over 146,000 lives.
