Lifeboats News Release

New Quay RNLI Lifeboat Operations Manager Roger Couch recently received a donation from Derrick Deakin whose wife Jean sadly passed away in January.

Accompanied by his daughter Jayne, they presented the station with a cheque of £145 raised in lieu of flowers at her funeral. New Quay RNLI would like to thank their family for their kind thought and generosity.

The RNLI charity saves lives at sea. Its volunteers provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland coasts.
