
Crosshaven RNLI assists two
Crosshaven RNLI's inshore lifeboat, John and Janet, launched today at 11.40am to go to the assistance of a 7 and a half metre boat with two people onboard which had broken down just inside Roches Point...
The lifeboat arrived on scene very quickly and established that those on board were well and set up a tow and took the sailors in to Aghada, County Cork.
The lifeboat was crewed by volunteer helm Aidan O Connor and Dave Wenner, Suzanne Heffernan and John Birmingham.
Shore crew volunteers included Hugh Mockler, JP English, Patsy Fegan and Denis Cronin.
