Douglas RNLI called out again in further search for missing person

Deputy Second Coswain Tony Radcliffe took the all-weather lifeboat, Sir William Hillary, out of Douglas harbour to conduct a shoreline search northwards as before from Douglas as far as Groudle and back, but this time extending the search to the south of Douglas as far as Little Ness, off the Marine Drive.

Still with mist and rain making things difficult but now with the advantage of daylight the search continued regrettably without success to the point where the lifeboat was eventually stood down by the Coastguard to return to harbour to be re-fuelled and made ready again for service.
