Troon and Largs lifeboats assist fishing vessel with fouled propeller
At 9.04am on Saturday 16 June 2018, the volunteer crew of Troon lifeboat were paged by Belfast Coastguard to assist Largs lifeboat crew after a 10m fishing vessel with two persons on board reported it had a fouled propeller near to Little Cumbrae.
The Trent class all-weather lifeboat RNLB Jim Moffat was soon underway and after a short passage observed Largs lifeboat, Atlantic 85 inshore lifeboat R A Wilson and the casualty vessel.
