The lifeboat shop manageress Mrs. Jean Frost MBE and her volunteers manned the temporary shop recently, selling gifts and souvenirs of the RNLI. Also present was the charity's mascot 'Stormy Stan' who helped collect. Mr. Garreth Maguire displayed his collection of model Rhyl lifeboats to also help raise funds.
A total of nearly £1000 was raised on the day.
Mrs. Frost said ' We would like to thank the management of the White Rose Centre for allowing us to raise funds, they are always willing to help the RNLI. The sum raised is over what we expected to collect on the day, and we are very happy with the result'.
