The volunteer crew of the Mumbles Lifeboat were called to the aid in the search for a despondent Male around the
area of Swansea Bay near 360 cafe.
Both Inshore and all weather lifeboats were launched and were on the scene
Within 10 minutes.
The volunteer crew joined the Coastguard rescue team and South Wales Police in the search for a young man thought to have entered the water.
Both boats returned to station by 6.30am with nothing found
Lifeboat operations manager Tim Conway said ‘Our volunteer crew are always on standby for instances like this and can only do so thanks to the donations to the charity’.
