The lifeboat launching on service

In horrendous conditions the lifeboat joined the local coastguard and police in searching Aberavon beach for the missing person. Whilst the other services searched along the shoreline, the lifeboat scoured the length of the beach just off shore. After approx one hour the missing person was found safe at the eastern end of the beach by the police. All services were then stood down.
