Lifeboats News Release

Belinda & James a young (at heart) retired couple from London have been fervent supporters of the RNLI since owning an inflatable on the Thames over 20 years ago.

RNLI

911 Challenge

They have had a passion for owning a Porsche 911 for more than 50 years and

want to put something back into society by supporting a truly worthy cause such as the RNLI.

The Challenge is to drive anti-clockwise around the whole of the British Isles

Visiting ALL 238 RNLI Lifeboat Stations, in a Porsche 911, within 911 hours!

The purpose is to raise in excess of £238 per lifeboat stations (£56,644 total).

The challenge starts at 9.11am on 23-8-18, lasting +/- 911 hours, from Teddington RNLI Lifeboat station, London and hopefully finishes +/- 911 hours later at Tower RNLI Lifeboat station, London.

Yesterday Belinda and James arrived in Stonehaven as part of there Challange. They were given a police escort into the harbour and enjoyed a quick catch up with fundraisers and crew before heading off to there next Lifeboat station Aberdeen.

Good luck to the couple and we look forward to tracking there progress over the next month.
