Local business creates Lifeboat Ice Cream
Di Meo's Ice Cream Parlour in Whitley Bay has brought a new flavour to town, in support of Cullercoats RNLI.
Luciano, the owner of the family-run business Di Meo's, offered to support Cullercoats and it's volunteer crew by creating a 'lifeboat icecream' to be sold for the whole month of August. For every scoop of the flavour sold, 25p will go towards supporting Cullercoats RNLI. The ice cream, which is orange club biscuit flavour, has already proven very popular with the crew and locals. It has been so popular that Luciano had to make some more!
Cullercoats RNLI crew, and fundraisers, look forward to seeing you all at Cullercoats Harbour Day, on Saturday 18th August 2018 between 11am and 3pm.
Thank you Di Meo's for your support from all at Cullercoats RNLI! We will see you soon I'm sure for more ice cream.
