Enjoy a Fish Supper cooking demo with TV stars Nadia Sawalha and Kaye Adams
Nadia Sawalha and Kaye Adams will be showing off their culinary prowess, in support of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution's Fish Supper weekend of 13–15 October, as they encourage people all over the UK and Ireland to host a fundraising fish-themed meal to help the charity save lives at sea.
The television presenters will be cooking Spicy Seafood Tagliatelle live on their Facebook page at 7.30pm on Thursday 5 October – before making a Ferrero Rocher Affogato dessert live on their YouTube channel at 8pm the same evening, to raise awareness for the RNLI’s annual Fish Supper fundraiser.
The RNLI relies on the generosity of the public to fund its lifesaving services, and the charity’s volunteers often sacrifice their precious meal times at a moment’s notice, answering the call of their pagers to save lives at sea. The Fish Supper campaign shines a light on the missed and disrupted dinners RNLI crew experience daily and the commitment and support shown by their families.
Nadia says: 'I can’t think of a better way to help raise vital funds for the RNLI, than by enjoying a delicious fish supper with loved ones. I’m really looking forward to cooking a tasty, yet simple fish dish to support the charity’s brave volunteer lifeboat crews and I’d encourage everyone to get involved too.
