Mayday event 6 May - Sainsbury's staff, RNLI Lifeguards and Stormy Stan
The event was held at the local Sainsbury's Westwood store where the staff have chosen Ramsgate RNLI as their charity of the year. As well as the fundraisers members of the South East RNLI Lifeguard team, Ramsgate lifeboat crew and RNLI Education presenters were in attendance as well as volunteer staff from the RNLI shop selling souvenirs. Stormy Stan also came along, as usual proving to be a great attraction especially to the young customers wanting to say 'hello' and have there picture taken with him. Great support was shown by many of the store's customers who generously donated and purchased 'Yellow Welly' badges.

Our thanks go to the management and staff at the store for facilitating the event, to all those who helped and supported us on the day and especially to fundraiser Jan Pearce for all her hard work in organising the event.
