Sunday night services call out for Beaumaris lifeboat volunteers.

The volunteer crew members of the R N LI Beaumaris lifeboat received a request to launch at 7.48 pm on Sunday 23 July 2017 to go to the assistance of a fisherman on the rocks near Penmon lighthouse.

The Beaumaris Inshore Lifeboat

The lifeboat Annette Mary Liddington was launched at 7.56 pm and proceeds to the lighthouse at best possible speed. After a difficult approach due to the rocks the crew managed to take the fisherman aboard the lifeboat.

The Penmon Coastguard Rescue Team was in attendance on the shore at Penmon and they assisted the casualty to land on the beach.

The lifeboat returned to her station at 8.24 pm being refuelled and made ready for her next service at 8.55 pm
