Christmas Day launch for Harwich RNLI
Christmas dinner was placed firmly on hold for the volunteer crew of Harwich RNLI as the pagers were activated for a launch at 11:50am.
After making contact with the Windsurfer, it was confirmed that they were not in difficulty. The lifeboat was released to return to station.
The call had been made with good intent.
