This event has grown in popularity since it started four years ago attracting many visitors and all local media to Ramsgate' Royal Harbour. Many boat and business owners in and around the harbour decorate their premises and vessels throughout December and money raised is collected by the Ramsgate Town Team and donated to the RNLI. The event has grown over the last four years and this year 82 boats, including reserve Mersey class lifeboat Lady of Hilbre, took part which is a record number.
