Plymouth lifeboats launched on service to conduct a search for missing woman

Lifeboats News Release

Plymouth all-weather lifeboat and B class inshore lifeboat were tasked at 7.37pm on Sunday 17 December.

Falmouth Coastguard requested the lifeboats to assist Devon and Cornwall Police search the waters around Plymouth Sound after reports were received that a local woman was missing. Around 9pm news came in that the woman had been found safe and well and the volunteer crews of the lifeboats and Coastguard rescue teams were stood down with thanks.
