Buttermilk's sweet donation to Port Isaac RNLI
The family-run confectionery firm sold Doc Martin themed maps from their shop in Port Isaac which doubles as Mrs Tishell’s Pharmacy in the much-loved ITV series.
The maps have proved extremely popular and have raised £2,294.02 for the RNLI and a further £2,294.02 for the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust.
Tracy McDonnell Goad, Director of Buttermilk, said: 'These two charities are run by dedicated volunteers who do incredible work for the local community and we were pleased to have been able to support them and to raise money in this way.
The donation to the Port Isaac RNLI will be put towards the station's current Lifeboat Appeal which aims to raise £52,000 for a new D Class lifeboat and equipment.

The RNLI charity saves lives at sea. Its volunteers provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland coasts.
