Beaumaris lifeboat launched to a reported incident on the Britannia Bridge.
At 6.37 pm on Monday 28 August 2017 at the request of U.K.Coastguard the volunteer crew members of the R N L I Beaumaris lifeboat were paged to attend at an incident involving an individual on the Anglesey side of the Britannia Bridge.
The Beaumaris Inshore Atlantic 85 Lifeboat Annette Mary Liddington was launched at 6.42 pm proceeding at her fastest safe speed to the incident.
Nothing was found by the bridge and walkers on the shore believed that a person had left the bridge in a motor vehicle. The north Wales police requested that both the lifeboat remain in the area whilst they made further enquiries.
At 7.15 pm the lifeboat was released from the scene by the U.K. Coastguard and returned to Beaumaris.
She arrives back at Beaumaris at 7.45 pm being washed, refuelled and prepared for her next service call by 8.15 pm.
