
St Davids RNLI lifeboat tasked to kayakers in difficulties
On Tuesday August (22) at 2.34pm St Davids RNLI Tamar class all-weather lifeboat, launched on service following reports of kayakers in difficulties to the north end of Whitesands beach.
Once on scene it was soon discovered that they were not in any difficulties, and did not require any assistance.
Whitesands RNLI lifeguards monitored the kayakers also coastguards from St Davids attended the scene.
With this information, the lifeboat did a sweep of the area to make sure that all was fine, before returning to station, rehousing, refuelling and ready for service at 3.05pm.
