Lifeboats News Release

At the request of H. M Coastguard the volunteer crew members of the R N L I Beaumaris lifeboat were paged at 4.12 pm on Saturday 11 June to go to the aid of a 21 foot yacht with engine difficulties.

The lifeboat then proceeded to tow the vessel through to a safe berth in Caernarfon the bridge over the river being opened to enable them to undertake this task.

Once the yacht was safely berthed the lifeboat returned to Beaumaris.
