Local school raises money for Trearddur Bay RNLI with onesie walk

The students, who are part of the Charity Committee at Ysgol Caergeiliog, undertook the walk last week in their onesies in not the best weather conditions!

Having raised money through sponsorship, their spirits undampened, they managed to raise more money on their coastal walk, collecting off generous passersby.

Sion Owen, Lifeboat Visitor Officer for Trearddur Bay RNLI Lifeboat Station, said: ‘It is wonderful that children of this age are engaging with their local RNLI station and helping to raise funds to support the RNLI volunteers. Equally importantly they are raising awareness of the dangers of the sea which is exactly what our annual water safety campaign Respect The Water is aimed at doing.’
