Girvan RNLI to hold fundraising Race Night

Lifeboats News Release

Girvan RNLI to hold fundraising Race Night

After the great success last year of our Race Night, in which a phenominal total of £2567 was raised for the station, we have decided to once again run the event in 2016.

Last years event was held in what was our 150th year and was well received with around 100 keen punters attending to have a fantastic night in support of Girvan Lifeboat.

This year the event will be held on Saturday 21st May with doors opening at 6:30pm and the 1st race taking place at 7:00pm once again the event will be held in the Catholic Hall, Henrietta Street, Girvan.

Tickets are exceptional value at just £5 and inclusive of a buffet.

Events Like this are invaluable not only for fundraising for the station, but it also allows the crew to further interact with the community, and it gives us yet another chance to speak with people and tell them a little more about what we do.

Why not come along for a fantastic evening's entertainment, tickets can be obtained from Girvan lifeboat station or from the Lifeboat Crew.
