Conwy RNLI welcomes its newest future crew member
Conwy RNLI lifeboat station has the pleasure of announcing the safe arrival of the newest addition to our ‘lifeboat family’.
Volunteer crew member Michael Thomas is now the very proud dad of Bodie James Thomas, who was born on 24 March weighing a healthy 7lb 15oz.
And as seen in the photograph, Bodie is a definite prospect for a future as a lifeboat volunteer as he was already caught trying out some crew kit earlier this week.
Proud dad Michael said: 'We are over the moon and couldn’t be happier. We would like to thank all at the station for the support and kind messages.'
Aled Williams, Lifeboat Operations Manger at Conwy RNLI, said: 'Family is very important to us here at the station. It is the famly of our volunteer crew members who supports us no matter what time of the day ro night our pagers sound.
'We are a family orientated station of which is run entirely by volunteers, and we are all delighted for Mike and his family.'
