Burnham-on-Crouch D Class and A85 Lifeboats

Both the D Class and A85 Tony & Robert Britt lifeboats were immediately launched.

Just after arrival on scene it was confirmed that the person had self extracted themselves from the water and was found at home.

Burnham-on-Crouch RNLI volunteers performed a brief search of the area but after a few minutes they received confirmation from HM Coastguard that no one else was missing or believed to be in the water whereupon the lifeboat crews were stood down and returned to station where they arrived at approximately 3am.
