The RNLI Wareham Ceilidh 2026

As the evenings begin to draw in, join us for a fun-filled evening of brilliant music, dancing and excellent food, all in support of the RNLI.

A fantastic evening with Arish Mel, who play lively English traditional music for barn dances. Their caller, Teresa Williams, is brilliant at running a fun evening.

Can't dance? No worries! No experience is needed to join in the dances – our caller tells you what to do and the music makes your feet move!

Arish Mel members are all local and play melodeons, recorders, violin, bass guitar and clarinets. They run and play for the famous Kimmeridge Keilidhs in the Village Hall at The Etches Collection, as well as performing for local dance clubs, weddings and birthdays across Dorset.

This event is open to all ages, but under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Food & drink

You'll also enjoy a fantastic three-course meal prepared by local chef Steve Townsend. If you missed Burns Night, here's another opportunity to enjoy some late January deliciousness! Vegan options are available.

Wine, beer and soft drinks will also be available.

Starter

• Cullen Skink (thick creamy soup from smoked haddock, potatoes and onions)

Main

• Slow cooked wild game and stout stew with bacon and Stilton dumplings served with wholegrain mustard mash
• Root vegetable, lentil & stout stew with vegan dumplings and wholegrain mustard mash (vegan)

Dessert

• Cranachan (sweet raspberries folded into cream flavoured with honey, whisky and toasted oatmeal)
• Vegan Cranachan (oats, raspberries, whipped dairy-free cream and whisky)

Tickets

Tickets cost £38.62 (including booking fee). Each ticket admits one person (adult or child) to the Cèilidh and includes a three-course meal.
