Whitby Lifeboat Museum Thursday Night Tours

An out of hours, in-depth personal tour of the museum with the Museum Curator.

Come along and find out more about the history of Whitby's lifeboats and hear first hand from the Volunteer Curator about the bravery, sacrifice and amazing rescue stories over more than 200 years of lifesaving. Each tour is open to a maximum of 10 persons and lasts for one hour. The shop within the museum will also be open during the tour.

The tour takes place after the museum has closed, so is a unique chance to view not only the displays and exhibits in a private setting but also gives an opportunity to see artifacts that are not normally on display.

Children are welcome with adults but are required to be booked on to the tour as an individual booked slot.

Tickets

The tour is free but you will need to book your place via Eventbrite.

Tours are every Thursday in July and August. Choose between two times: 6.30pm or 7.30pm.
