Hands-on with RNLI history in Aberdeen

Discover the story of saving lives at sea through this free interactive drop‑in handling session.

See, touch and explore objects from the RNLI’s Second World War collection, and learn about the extraordinary rescues and remarkable bravery of the crews involved.

Meet RNLI volunteers, try on RNLI crew clothing, share wartime memories, and take time to explore the Maritime Museum’s Wreck and Rescue exhibition during your visit.

This welcoming activity is suitable for all ages, including families, adults, and people who benefit from sensory, tactile experiences, as well as those who enjoy learning, reminiscing or sharing stories.

Thank you to Aberdeen Maritime Museum for supporting this event.
