Deputy Chair

Fiona Fell has a wealth of governance experience, including being non-executive director in the charitable sector and Not-for-Profits. She is a non-executive director for the Covent Garden Market Authority and the Centre of Innovation Excellence in Livestock (CIEL), and member and past chair of the Farne Islands Advisory Committee to the National Trust.

In addition to governance and volunteering, Fiona’s areas of experience include marine conservation issues and communication of technical information. She previously worked as a rural veterinary surgeon.

Fiona is married and has two daughters, both of whom are competitive dinghy sailors.

Elected to the RNLI Council in 2012, Fiona has also been part of the Operations Committee since 2013. She was appointed as a Trustee in 2020 and Deputy Chair in 2022.
