Crugan Farm caravan owners raise £531.30 for Pwllheli RNLI

A fundraising event organised by seasonal pitch owners at Crugan Farm Caravan Site, Llanbedrog has raised £531.30 for Pwllheli RNLI, the charity that saves lives at sea.

Guests took part in a range of games and activities, including Bingo, Play Your Cards Right, a quiz and a raffle. All the money raised from tickets to take part in the games was donated to Pwllheli RNLI.

Members of Crugan’s fundraising team recently visited Pwllheli lifeboat station to present a giant cheque for £531.30 to the RNLI volunteers. The presentation took place in front of the station’s all-weather lifeboat, Smith Brothers.

The money was raised at the Crugan Farm Stock Party, organised by Crugan Farm owners Richard and Gwenno Jones, with the event arranged by the events committee of Geoff and Anita Farr and Chris Fletcher.

Chris Fletcher, who is also a volunteer fundraiser for Pwllheli RNLI, said:

‘The RNLI is such an important part of our coastal community, and the volunteers are always there when people need help at sea. As a volunteer fundraiser myself, I see how important the support of local communities is in helping the charity continue its lifesaving work.

It was great to see everyone at the Crugan Farm Stock Party getting involved and helping to raise this money. We’re delighted to be able to present £531.30 to Pwllheli RNLI and hope it will help support the station and its volunteers.’
