The Paul and Stella Rowsell Atlantic 85 B-Class relief lifeboat was launched at 4.46pm in a rough sea state with a strong 25 knot south westerly wind.

At 5.07pm the lifeboat was stood down by HM Coastguard after the local Coastguard team had successfully rescued the casualty.

The lifeboat returned to the station at 5.30pm where it was washed down, refuelled and left ready for service.

If you get in to difficulty call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
