Early morning callouts for Llandudno RNLI crew

Lifeboats News Release

At 6:19am on Friday 1 May, Llandudno RNLI’s inshore lifeboat was requested to assist North Wales Police and Llandudno Coastguard in the Rhos-on-Sea area.

The volunteer crew launched shortly afterwards and made their way to the scene, where the situation was quickly brought under control. As the lifeboat was preparing to return to station, a second request for assistance came in from the Penrhyn Bay area.

The crew diverted immediately, and this second incident was also resolved without delay. The lifeboat returned to station at 7:19am, exactly one hour after the initial tasking.

Once ashore, the crew refuelled and washed down the lifeboat, making it ready for service. Following the early morning callouts, the volunteers then continued on with their day jobs.
