Llandudno Knights Templar Continue Generous Support with £1,300 Donation

Lifeboats News Release

Llandudno RNLI was delighted to welcome members of the Knights Templar to the lifeboat station last week, where they presented a generous donation of £1,300.

The funds were raised by Templar member Chris Ward through a series of popular local quizzes held at The LC Drink & Dine and The George & Dragon Conwy. Chris’s quiz nights continue to be well supported by the local community, with regular attendees helping to raise significant funds for the RNLI.

This is not the first time Chris and the Knights Templar have supported the station in this way, and their continued generosity is greatly appreciated. Their ongoing commitment, along with the support of Chris’s quizzers, makes a real difference to the charity’s lifesaving work.

The cheque was presented to Lifeboat Operations Manager Capt. Marcus Elliott, Fundraising Coordinator Janet Lowe and Senior Station Technician Luke Heritage during their visit to the station.

The RNLI relies entirely on voluntary donations to continue saving lives at sea, and support such as this plays a vital role in keeping the service running.
