Penzance Canoe Club donates to Sennen Cove RNLI

Yesterday, at our Lifeboat Day, we received a very kind donation from Penzance Canoe Club.

Richard Uren, who was also attending the event as a volunteer of the RNLI Water Safety team, presented Sennen Cove RNLI with a cheque for £250 on behalf of Penzance Canoe Club.

The money was raised at the recent West Cornwall Sea Kayak Meet, an annual event hosted by the club that attracts sea kayakers from all over the country.

Richard said;

'Sennen Cove and the Lands End area are very popular destinations for sea kayaks, and as a club, we are happy to be able to support the local station.'


We would like to thank Richard and all the members of the club for their support and helping save lives at sea.
