Remembering Alan Sharp, Former Llandudno RNLI Press Officer

Lifeboats News Release

Today, we said our final goodbyes to Alan Sharp, a well-respected member of the Llandudno RNLI family.

RNLI/Luke Heritage

Alan passed away earlier this month following a long illness. His funeral took place today at Colwyn Bay Crematorium.

For almost 20 years, Alan served as Llandudno’s Lifeboat Press Officer, sharing the stories of our crew with dedication, pride, and a true love of the sea. Before joining us, he was a committed fundraising chair in Kelsall, near Chester, already giving so much of his time and energy to supporting the RNLI’s lifesaving work as fundraising chair.

His passion for all-things maritime, his professionalism and steady presence will be remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Donations in Alan’s memory are in aid of the RNLI, a cause close to his heart. Thanks for all you gave Alan.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Alan’s family at this difficult time.
