Shoreham RNLI has announced the return of its highly anticipated Midsummer Ball, taking place on Saturday 20 June 2026 at the American Express Stadium in Brighton.
This glamorous event will bring together supporters, local businesses and community partners for an unforgettable evening in aid of the RNLI, the charity that saves lives at sea.
Guests will enjoy a three‑course meal, live music from the Brooks House band and an exciting charity auction featuring amazing gifts, including a signed gig poster from Fatboy Slim and a signed Gavin and Stacey script from Larry Lamb! All proceeds will go to supporting the vital work of Shoreham RNLI's volunteers.
The Midsummer Ball is one of Shoreham RNLI’s main fundraising events in 2026, helping to fund essential training, equipment and operational support for its volunteer lifeboat crew.

Shoreham Harbour RNLI has been saving lives at sea since 1865. Home to a Tamar class all-weather lifeboat, the Enid Collett, and a D class inshore lifeboat, the Joan Woodland, the crew respond to, on average, 80 to 90 shouts a year, covering an area from Brighton Marina to Worthing Pier. The station is run by around 100 volunteers who include a lifeboat operations manager, launch authorities, boat and shore crew, an administrative officer, press officers, fundraisers, shop staff, a visits team, and water safety advisers.
