Penarth RNLI acknowledges long service of fund raiser Sally.
Penarth RNLI volunteer Sally Livsey-Davies was presented with her long service award, recognising over two decades of remarkable service with the Penarth RNLI Fundraising Team.
Throughout more than 20 years of dedication, Sally has a driving force in every activity she has taken part in, whether selling tickets for fish suppers and opera evenings, or helping to source raffle prizes for these events.
The award is in appreciation of her tireless efforts in rallying supporters to bake cakes and savouries for the RNLI coffee morning cake stand. Thanks to her enthusiasm and attention to detail, the stand was always beautifully presented and consistently raised funds for the station.
On one memorable occasion, Sally even hosted her own Bridge event in Penarth to raise funds for the RNLI, combining her passion for the cause with one of her favourite pastimes.
Colleagues expressed their absolute pleasure and privilege to serve alongside Sally for so many years. Her commitment, creativity, and generosity have made a lasting difference to the Penarth RNLI community.
