Excellence in Volunteering Awards: Launch of new online nomination form
The Excellence in Volunteering Awards recognise volunteers who have gone above and beyond in their usual volunteering role and positively impacted an individual, their team, their community, or the wider RNLI. Originally introduced in 2016, over 900 Excellence in Volunteering Awards have since been presented to our amazing volunteers.
Nominations are welcome all year round; with a range of awards, depending on the award level decided by the Excellence in Volunteering Panel.
As part of a wider review into how we make recognising our volunteers even better and more accessible, we have looked to make changes to the Excellence in Volunteering Awards online nomination form, taking on board feedback from our volunteers. This is to streamline the nomination process, by setting clear guidelines on the information required and timescales involved in making a nomination. There are no changes to the awards themselves or the criteria.
We are pleased to announce that the new online nomination form can be accessed by visiting the recognition and awards page on the Volunteer Zone, scrolling down to the Excellence in Volunteering Awards section and clicking on the online form.
To support the new nomination form, we have also produced some guidance in the form of frequently asked questions (PDF 99KB).
If you have any questions about the Excellence in Volunteering Awards, please read these frequently asked questions (PDF 99KB) or contact the Volunteer Recognition Team at [email protected]
Thank you!
