In May, all volunteers and staff are invited to share questions, feedback and ideas as we develop our plans for RNLI 2040.
Ahead of another busy summer season, I am looking forward to hosting and joining a variety of online events for RNLI volunteers and staff.
Your #OneCrew update
Please look out for my next #OneCrew video update on 14 May. I will share the progress we are making on our priorities for this year, and what to expect over the next few months as we continue to develop the 5-Year Plan.

Regional volunteer webinars - please sign-up
I am also looking forward to joining volunteers in each region for an online webinar. The aim of these is to help us discuss matters that are important to you and your local community. They will help me and your Head of Region to better understand your feedback and ideas so we can feed these into our first 5-Year Plan – which is due to launch later this year.
There will be an open forum for dialogue so volunteers can ask questions or share feedback in the session, or you can send a question in advance. Below you can find the dates and times of your regional volunteer webinar.
Please sign-up for your regional webinar using the Eventbrite form.
Once you’ve signed-up, Eventbrite will send you a placeholder to add to your diary and you will receive a follow up email from your Regional Support Team a few days before the event to make sure you have all the details.
We have scheduled webinar timings in both lunchtime and evening slots to enable as many people to join as possible, however, I recognise these timings won’t work for everyone. These webinars will be recorded and available to watch back after the event.
Feedback and questions
Attendees across all webinars will be asked for feedback to help us understand how this format works for you and whether you find the webinars valuable. I am committed to listening to your ideas on how we improve communication and offer more opportunities for discussion with RNLI leaders.
