200 years and counting… on your views
On Monday 19 August, we’ll be inviting all volunteers and staff to share your views in the one crew: your view surveys.
It’s your opportunity to have your say on what it’s like to volunteer and work at the RNLI, so that we can focus on and prioritise what matters the most. Your feedback will help us understand how we’ll deliver our priorities, whilst ensuring that our people feel valued, listened to and supported.
We’ll also be tracking progress against our key areas for improvement following the last volunteer and staff surveys. These areas were continuous development/training, improving communication and feeling hopeful about future plans (staff only). You can read an update on progress on the Volunteer Zone.
How you will receive your survey
You’ll receive an invite to the survey via email from either [email protected] or [email protected] on Monday 19 August. If you volunteer and work at the RNLI, you’ll be invited to take part in both surveys.
The surveys are completely confidential. BMG Research, an independent research company are carrying out the surveys on our behalf.
The surveys close on Sunday 15 September.
Your feedback is important. The views you share in these surveys will be reviewed alongside our recent staff pay and reward survey, as well as our volunteer managers’ survey to show our ongoing commitment to listening to and acting on feedback provided by our volunteers and staff.
Spread the word about the surveys
We want to ensure that everyone has their chance to share their views. Please encourage team members to have their say. You can download and share the volunteer and staff survey poster (PDF 1MB) and use the Microsoft Teams background (JPG 340 KB) when the survey is live to spread awareness.
