Help save lives at sea this Christmas by joining Rookie the Reindeer for this year's RNLI Moors Valley Reindeer Run!

Join Rookie the Reindeer and team this November at Moors Valley Country Park for our annual RNLI Reindeer Run! Choose from a 10K, 5K or 1K Santa Saunter and help raise vital funds for the RNLI. All participants will receive a Reindeer Run medal on completion of their run and prizes will be given to the first male and female in the 5K and 10K runs.

Age requirements

Tickets must be purchased by someone over 18 years old and the following age limits for the runs are applicable:

1K Santa Saunter: Anyone can participate, however, under 15s must be accompanied by an adult (max ratio of 5 children per adult). 15-17s, can participate independently but their entry must be purchased by a parent/guardian.

5K: Anyone over 11 years old can participate, however, 11-14s must be accompanied by an adult (max ratio of 2 children per adult). 15-17s can participate independently but their entry must be purchased by a parent/guardian.

10K: Anyone over 15 years old can participate. 15-17s can participate independently but their entry must be purchased by a parent/guardian.

Course information / Access

All races start at the totem pole next to Moors Valley staff car park (race HQ).

The runs are on undulating forest trails and although the event is accessible, we advise anyone with limited mobility to check the course beforehand or email us for further information. Water will be available for runners and further refreshments can be purchased.

Dogs

Please note that we're unable to allow dogs to participate in any of the runs, although dogs on a lead are welcome to accompany spectators.

Sponsorship

In addition to the entry fee, we encourage all participants to raise as much as they can to help the RNLI continue to save lives at sea. Once registered, an online fundraising page will be automatically set up for you. This can be personalised with a photo and message, and once shared with friends and family should help boost your fundraising.
